EPIC Finds Success with Pilot Plant Design & Build Projects; Named Fastest Growing Company

EPIC-Pilot-PlantsEPIC Systems, Inc. was honored to be named one of the 25 Fastest Growing Companies in St. Louis by the St. Louis Business Journal. EPIC’s growth has been supported by an influx of pilot plant design and fabrication projects over the last several years, ranging from fuel additive processing to nutritional supplements.

Business Journal Fastest Growing Awards honor private businesses from St. Louis based on sales history for 2012, 2013 and 2014. Winners must have equal or increased revenue in 2014 over 2013 and a revenue over $1,000,000 in 2012.

“We are doing work all over the country and the world,” says John Schott, EPIC’s President. “Bringing in clients from California, New York, Belgium etc., to St. Louis is really an opportunity to both show off EPIC and St. Louis as a great town to do business in.”

The cornerstone of EPIC’s business, modular process systems has been growing at an impressive rate. “We have completed a number of large pilot plant design and build projects over the last several years,” says EPIC’s General Manager, James Owen. “We really seek out projects where our process engineers can add value through pragmatic systems design and chemical process expertise. Our project managers bring both commercial and technical expertise to pilot plant design. We help growing companies bring their process technology to market quickly.”

EPIC is projecting another big year in 2015, with several large process clients including gas and oil piping projects, several pilot plants for the food and beverage industry and a number of chemical process scale-up projects of large magnitude.
